Tried it with friends, it's great! Although sometimes bad luck will utterly destroy you (especially when playing a 1v1); I still find it miles better than deck based card games & their "ok so i draw 7 cards and instantly win" meta (and it's much easier to learn also).
thanks! really glad you enjoyed it, and yea I designed this with more players in mind so 1v1s can be a bit rough
@Skkull 1v1s are okay but most of the times you'll know when you've reached the last 1/4 of the game and who's about to win
